Dwain Weetns HONEY GROVE — Dwain Weems, 53, of Honey Grove, died Saturday, Dec. 17, 1994, at Northeast Medical Center in Bonham. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m..Monday, Dec. 19, at Aliens Point Baptist Church with buriai in Aliens Point Cemetery by Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home. The Rev. Kevin Mitchell and lay speaker Rocky Ford were to officiate. Mr. Weems was Aug. 13, 1941, in Celina, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Truman Weems. He was self-employed as a welder and fabricator and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was an assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 51 in Honey Grove. He was a member of Aliens Point Baptist Church. He married Barbara June Wesberry Aug. 2, 1975. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Laura Kelso of Honey Grove and Joy Weems of Honey Grove; three sons, Michael Dwain Weems of Garland, Ronnie Weems of Farmersville and Thad Weems of Honey Grove; two sisters, Margaret Quillan of Princeton and Mary Jo Sherrod of Farmersville; four brothers, Marvin Usry of Canton, Donnie Weems of Princeton, Jerry Weems of Lewisville and David Weems of Princeton; and six grandchildren. Named as pallbearers were Kurt Fogelberg, Michael Blair, Michael Weems, Rocky Ford, A.P. Herd, and Albert Nance. Members of the Men's Sunday School Class of Aliens Point Baptist Church were honorary bearers. Michael Arden Parsons Michael Arden Parsons, 8, of Blossom died at 9:50 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 1994, at his home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with burial in West Post Oak Cemetery. The Rev. Chief Warden will officiate. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. He was born Oct. 30, 1986, in Paris, a son of Mike and Donna Oats Parsons. Surviving are his mother, Donna Parsons of Blossom; his father and stepmother, Mike and Drethia Parsons of Belk; two brothers, Hardy Zane Parsons of Belk and Jake Olen Parsons of Blossom; his grandparents, Zane and Bonnie Oats of Cooper, and Rae Parsons of Belk; and several aunts, uncles and cousins from Cooper. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Hardy Parsons. Pallbearers will be James Cogburn, Mike Howse, Phil Wilson and Timothy Norris. Lucille Hall Alexander Lucille Hall Alexander, 57, of Vallejo, Calif, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 1994,'at Sutter Solano Medical Center in Vallejo. Services were scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with the Rev. S.F. Evans officiating. Burial will be in Fairland Cemetery by Maxey Funeral Home. Mr. Alexander was born June 27, 1937, in Red River County, a son of Willie and Hattie Mae Wortham Hall. He attended Gibbons High School and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church where he served on the usher board. He was employed by Campbell Soup. Surviving are a son, James Alexander of Vallejo; her father who lives in Paris; four brothers, Jesse Hall and Junior Hall, both of Paris, Melvin Jones of Wichita, Kan., and R.D. Jones of Dallas; four sisters, Lennie Mae Washington and Virginia Carter of Dallas and Lola Hooker and Dorothy Nell Jones, both of Paris; and three grandchildren, Jamilla Z.
