Margaret Barranco, 44 A memorial service for Margaret Patricia Barranco, a former soda' worker who also was active in the mortgage and real estate businesses, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Taylor funeral establishment, 147 Duke of Gloucester street in Annapolis. Annapolis. Mrs. Barranco, 44, of Annapolis, died Sunday of cancer at Anne Arundel Arundel General Hospital. She retired because of illness in 1980 as an account executive for the Pioneer Mortgage Company in Annapolis. Annapolis. Previously she had held similar similar posts, also in Annapolis, for the James T. Barnes Company and the Unity Mortgage Company. For three years earlier she had been a social worker in Annapolis for the State Department of Social Ser vices, serving during that time -as -as president. of the Anne Arundel chap--ter chap--ter chap--ter chap--ter of the Maryland Classified Employees Employees Association. Earlier, she worked for realty companies in Pikesville and Catons-ville Catons-ville Catons-ville and, for a time in the late 1960s, operated her own company, Peg Barranco Barranco & Associates, in Arnold. She is survived by her mother, Margaret E. Welch, and stepfather, Rex R. Welch, both of Ellicott City; two sisters, Winnie Beard, of Katy, Texas, and Jeanette Riefler, of Lin-thicum, Lin-thicum, Lin-thicum, and two brothers, Ronald A. Voyce of Eldersburg and Patrick A. Voyce of Raleigh, N.C. The family suggested that any memorial memorial donations be made to the hospice hospice at Anne Arundel General Hospital. Hospital.
