ln- PROGRAM IS TO BE ATTRACTIVE Tentative Announcement Regarding Christmas Celebration Made (Special Staff Correspondence) REDLANDS, Dec. 8. The tentative tentative program for the Community Christmas celebration was announced today by Mayor A. E. Brock. The Rev. Dr. William M. Jeffers, pastor of the First Methodist church, will deliver the address of the day. Dr. Jeffers has not chosen his subject. which will be of a seaaonaDie nature. An innovation is to be introduced Into the exercises this year in that the oak tree on the Triangle will be used as a Christmas tree instead of an evergreen from the mountains. The move is in the interest of conservation conservation and economy and will save the city at least $200.
