He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was self-employed self-employed self-employed in the logging and lumber business. He was a member of Lutheran Layman's League, VFW Post 1925, Disabled American American Veterans 47, and as a POW during World War II. Born June 7, 1922, in Jackson County, he was the son of Andrew and Amelia Christopher Darlage. Darlage. On Jan. 31, 1942, in Seymour, he married Leona Oberman, and she preceded him in death. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Allen, Harlan, Willis and Everett Darlage; a sister, Loraine Trapp; and a grandson, Craig Darlage. The Rev. Ralph Blomen-berg Blomen-berg Blomen-berg will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Full military graveside rites will be conducted by the VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled American Veterans 47, and Vietnam Veterans 7, all of Seymour, Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.mr today at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Sey- Sey- mour, and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be given to Lutheran Hour, American American Diabetes Association or donor's choice.
