2 Sisters Re-united Re-united Re-united After 17 Years Are Seeking Another Sister, Brother Fair Haven, April 15 Two sisters, sisters, reunited after a 17-year 17-year 17-year separation, separation, have joiiied forces in a search for another sister and a brother, believed to be living somewhere somewhere in Alichigan. Grote has tried desperately since 1923 to locate her brother "and sisters. The possibility of finding the brother, Teddy Roosevelt Slipper, 22 years old. is a bit doubtful, at present, because his age would place him in the armed forces. The only means of identification remembered remembered is a mop of bright red curly hair. The other sister, Elsie Doris Slipper, 24, might be married or using her foster parents' name which is unknown. The story dates back to June. 1927, when Naomi, Teddy and Elsie were placed in the Children's Aid society. Ruth was already married. In 1923, Airs. Grote inquired at the home and learned the children had been adopted out. According to the rules of the society, no further information information coud be given. Two more attempts, in 1937 and 1943, proved fruitless. They finally contacted each other, and met the day before Naomi's twenty-seventh twenty-seventh twenty-seventh birthday. Naomi and Elsie attended AIc-Kinistry AIc-Kinistry AIc-Kinistry school in 1926 while Ru'h attended Neinas intermediate. It was their last year together. An unusual coincident in the case is the fact that Airs. Grote for the past three years has visited friends. Air. and Mrs. White, at 3004 Twenty-second Twenty-second Twenty-second street.
