i t e r a Auburn. \ lived attack. CHESTER R. WHIFFEN AUBURN -- Chester R. Whiffen, 69, of 103 River Road, Cayuga, died Sunday at Memorial Memorial Hospital. Born in Auburn, he was a retired crane operator for Alco Products and was a member of Local AFL-CIO 3482, United Steel Workers of America. He was also a member of the Cayuga Cayuga Volunteer Fire Department Department and the Civil Defense. Ethel Leather Whiffen; two Surviving are his wife, Mrs. stepsons, Floyd and LeRoy Grosbeck of Cayuga; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Tal- vock of Cayuga and Mrs. Micha4l Chayka of Skaneateles Skaneateles RD 1, two stepdaughters, Mrs. Russell Oaks of Fayetteville Fayetteville and Mrs. Howard Hundley Hundley of Cayuga; a brother, Joseph Joseph Whiffen of Cayuga; a sister, Mrs. Rose Treasurer of Syracuse; 16 grandchidren; three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Brew Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Throop. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 48 South St. Avenue Vincent, Joseph mother, sister, Auburn.
