For Payson Matron PAYSON—A group of about 75 family members gathered at the Payson American Legion Memorial Memorial Building Saturday evening, when a surprise birthday party was arranged for Mrs. Margaret Cloward, on her 77th birthday. Each, family group presented a number on the program during the evening, and a group of grandchildren and great-grandchildren great-grandchildren sang "My Grandmothers' Old-Fashioned Garden" as each child presented the honored guest with a flower for a bouquet. She has 31. grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Attending were five of Mrs. Cloward's children and four of her brothers and sisters, as follows: follows: Mr. and Mrs. Leon (Thelma) (Thelma) Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. Ruel (Gladys) Clayson, Mr. and Mrs. Hex Mendenhall, Payson; Mr. and Mrs. James (Ladora) Brady, Santaquin; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Mendenhall, Provo, and children and grandchildren; Mr. and Mrs. Arch Pulham and family, Mr. and Mrs. Byron Cox, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Terry, all of Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Brown Mendenhall, Payson. # * #
