!f- £•:*',.??>%•. f*'*lj''«<"* Couple Says Vows At Lena Miss Lorraine Broge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Broge of Winslow, and Stanley Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Jones of Lena, exchanged nuptial nuptial vows at 2 p.m. Aug. 30 in Lena United Methodist Church. The Rev. Joe Summers officiated at the double-ring ceremony, for which music was provided by Mrs. David Schultz, organist, and Terry Scheider, soloist. Two white wicker baskets of lavender lavender and white gladioli decorated the altar, altar, which was flanked by two seven- branched candelabra tied with ferns and white bows. Carries Orchids, Roses The bride wore a gown of sheer nylon nylon and lace over cotton sateen, with long, lace flared sleeves. Her fingertip veil, edged in lace, was held by a lace rosette headpiece. She carried a cascade of lavender cymbidium orchids, pink Sweetheart roses, white miniature carnations and babies'-breath on a white Bible. Miss Deborah Hybarger of Winslow MRS. STANLEY JONES man, and groomsmen and ushers were Brian Mani, Denny Heer, Terry Wee- Showers-Gadow Wedding Vows Recited In Brodhead Church Wedding vows were exchanged by Miss Connie Mae Ga'dow and Leland Showers Jr. at 2 p.m. July 12 in the Brodhead, Wis., United Methodist Church with the Rev. Amos Shimko officiating. officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orvel Gadow of Brodhead. Mr. Showers is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Leland Showers Sr. of rural Monroe, Wis., former Orangeville residents. Vocalists were Miss Donna Gadow and Danny Wallace. They were accompanied accompanied by Miss Kathy Peterson. Crown Holds Veil The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore an Empire gown of sheer, organza with Venise lace trim, with a deep flounce at the hemline. A pillbox crown held her cathedral cathedral mantilla edged with lace, She carried yellow roses, white, carnations and ivy on a white Bible. Attending her sister as maid of honor was Miss Jill Gadow, and bridesmaids bridesmaids were Miss Donna Gadow of Brodhead, Miss Anna Showers, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Julie Yaun of Brodhead. The maid of honor wore an apricot knit gown with white Venise lace bib, collar and cuffs. The bridesmaids wore Serving as best man was Leland Leopold. Groomsmen were Jeff Williams Williams and Tom Erb, both of Monroe, and Wayne Barker of Orangeville. Ushers were Jack Gadow and Eugene Showers, brothers of the couple, Ronald Ronald Nenneman of Brodhead and Charles Koch of Monroe. A reception followed in the church hall. The couple took a honeymoon trip to South Dakota. The bride is a graduate of Brodhead High School. Her husband is a 1974 graduate of Monroe High School and is employed by Iroquois Foundry in Browntown, Wis. They are living at 1602 14th Ave., Brodhead.
