Miss Monica Muras, Joseph Willian Friedel Married at Hostyn William Friedcl were married Sunday Sunday morning, April 29, lit Holy Rosary Rosary Catholic Church, Hoatyn, with Rev. Frances Smerlto officiating in the double ring ccrmony. The bride's parents arc Mr. annd Mrs. George Muras of La Grange. The groom Is the son of Mra. Herman Pavlik and Anton Friedel of Weimar. The altar was decorated with white Gladioli and carnations. Mrs. Pete Rainosek provided the traditional music, and Hostyn choir sang at the nuptial moss. Given In marriage by her father, the bride wore a pcau de sole floor- length gown with a hand run allencon lace bodice which featured a sabrina neckline. For extra appeal a split back bustle fell into a chapel train which was cascaded with self-made roses. Pearls and sequins were Bprlnklcd on the bodice and on the lace appllcrues which were on the skirt. The bride's only jewelry was a cultured pearl, a gift of the groom. She wore a fingertip veil which was attached to a pearl queen's crown and She carried a bouquet of carnations, Illy of the valley and a purple throated throated orchid. Miss Loretta Muras, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a pink silk organza over taffeta floor length gown. The lace bodice featured a criss-cross band which formed a large bustle at the back. Lace appliques with sequins were attached attached to the skirt. She carried a bouquet of pink carnations and wore n small veil attached to a crown. Bridesmaids were Misses Br-rnn- dctte Muras, Elgin Pesok and Bernlce Perry. Thi-y were gowned identically to llie mnlil of honor. Little Klalne Oorku, cousin of the bride, was flower flower girl. She was dressed identically to the maid of honor. Ringberaer was Altcm Oncken, nephew of the groom. Bonnie Friedel of San Antonio served his brother as besl man. Groomsmen were Iggle Janda, Cyril Muras and Felix Kolck. Frank Kore- nclr and Arnold Janda were ushers and Leslie Faldyn, brother-in-law of the bride of Houston, and Norwin Oncken, brother-in-law of the groom :ur&UK l " An oil day reception was held at ho Hostyn dining hall. The bride's ?akc was three tiered with the bottom bottom tier forming three scallops. The jakc was decorated with pink sugar spun roses and a miniature bride and groom on the top tier. It was placed on a mirror reflector encircled with net. Assisting at the reception were Mrs. Leslie Faldyn, sister of the bride, of Houston, and Mrs. Norwin Oncken, sister of the groom, of San Antonio. A dance was held at night with l«e Miss Jean Wendel of Houston spent Mother's Day here with her parents, and Mrs. F. J. Wendel. r. and Mra. Duve Miles and family family and Mrs. Irene Miles of Houston •Isital with the Frank Wicks Sunday. Sunday. Use's Orchestra furnishing the music. For her travel apparel, the bride chose a throe-piece tangerine suit with beige accessories and an orchid The Fricdcls are living at 030 Uto- Mrs. Friedcl is a graduate of Bishop Forest High School. Mr. Frie- di-I Is a graduate of Weimar High school and also attended the University University of Houston. He Is employed by the City Public Service Board of San Antonio.
