Visalia, July 6th.—At four o'clock this afternoon a fire broke out in Lovejoy's Hotel Lulare City, which destroyed the entire business portion of the town within two hours, loss about 5125.000. Principal losses, Schoenfield, Goldman & Co., $40,000; Sissiou, Wallace & Co., $30,000; Stock Hotel owned by the Central Pacific R. R. Co., 40,---000. Stock and building of Sission <fe Wallace, Schoenfield, Goldman & Co., and Taylor's saloon were insured. No other insurance. Owing to the rapid spread of the flames, very little stock was saved from any of the stores. Shuffled Off. street, Thursday Refreshments attend. things old. cents. 1875, daughter.
