per 17 - - - - of Card Producer Taken by Death Brothers of John Omwake Reside in Cumberland Valley Towns COLLECTION FAMOUS John Omwake, 85, who never found time to become a good card player but rose to presidency of the nation's largest producer of playing cards, died last night at his home in Cincinnati. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Erwin Bosworth, Cincinnati; four brothers, Dr. Howard Om wake, Catawba College president and formerly dean at Franklin and Marshall; A. B., Washington; Edward, Greencastle, and Jeremiah, Shippensburg, and a sister, Miss Katherine, Greencastle. Omwake was president of the United States Playing Card Company for twenty - six years, retir ing in 1931, but contmued as chairman of the board. He went to Cincinnati in his youth.
