Word Received Of Death Of E. F. Holton Word has been received here of the death of Dasville-nativi Elwood Francis Holton, a Roa noke druggist for 30 years. Mr. Holton, who married Mrs Ellie Fitzgerald Ogburn of Dan ville in 1964, was born her Dec. 1, 1893, the son of William C. and Laura Crawley Holton He was educated in loca public schools, the old Danvill School for Boys and Richmon Medical College where he re ceived his degree in pharmacy He served in the Navy dur ing World War I. For man years he owned and operate Helton's Pharmacy in Roanok before retiring in 1965. He is .survived by.his wife a son and a daughter by a pre vious marriage, E. P. Holton Jr., of Richmond and Mrs J. E. Weaver of Suitland, Md six grandchildren; three step children, Mrs. F. D. Harris o Danville, J. S. Ogburn, Jr., o Bon Air and J. F. Ogburn o Sandston; and one brother Frank Holton of Norfolk. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. in Roanoke. Burial will be in Evergree Cemetery in Roanoke.
