DELANO, April 2. — 'The Toreadors," Toreadors," Spanish operetta presented by children of the Delano Union Grammar Grammar Schools, delighted two auldences which almost filled the auditorium of tho West Side Grammar School on Thursday and Friday nights. Those taking the main roles Included James Grogan, Prances Vlllard, Hattle Griffith, Clyde Marks, Randall Payden, Payden, Bobbie Heck, Kenneth Nelsod Ruby Nelson, Maria Melson and Anita Clark. The little folks' chorus Included Ernestene Ernestene Jennens, Donald Houck, Welthea Welthea Borel, Owen Llsenbee, Dorothy Lee Greenhalgh, Reuben Welch, Dorothy Dorothy Jane Swanson, Bennlo Stradley Jean Smith, William Shewcraft, Murie Roberts and Robert Welch. Boys' chorus Includdd Wyman Ray Manuel Sllva, Wayne Rny, Clarence Gwynn, Edward Ross, Cecil True James Griffin, Robert Brown, J. T Slmpkins, Carl McCanless, Wilbur Shlnp, George Welch, Merrltt Goodell Wayne McQuown, and Sammy Smith Girls' chorus Included Beatrice Her nandez, Opal Ragsdalo, Mary Ramzoff Carlotta Haag, Madeline Dusserre Kathleen Daniels, Fredrlcka Helbert Charlotte Stearns, Virginia Fabllll Pauline Duncan, Prances 'Armstrong Nancy Smith, Alma Thorn, Jean Per elll-Minettl, Lela Wong, Anna Audap and Violet' Root. Solo dancers were Beverley Parker Wealthea Borel, Albert Sepulveda and Dorothy Drum. Dancing girls were Betty Taylor Harriett Smith, Alice Moffltt, Gather Ino Nicely, Josephine Audnp, Marli Wankum, Alberta Sepulveda, Mary Chroman and Paula Crenshaw. The school band, directed by Gus Porsblad, played before tho operetta and between acts. Mrs. Lester M. Klggens, school supervisor supervisor of music, directed the operetta. operetta. Other teachers supervised making of costumes, tickets, publicity, business, dances, stage decorations and scenery, ushers, programs, back stage, curtain and lights.
