fiscal her Damage Suits Totaling $350,000 On at Duluth DULUTH, Minn. Wi -- Damage claims of more than $350,000 at stake in two civil suits called for trial today in U.S. District Court here. Largest action is that of John Colasacco, Ironwood, Mich., who is .seeking $200,000 from the Clinic and two doctors, F. J, Hirschboeck and R. H. Labree, both of Duluth. Colasacco charges that his left lung was removed unnecessarily in an operation performed Sept. 17, 1951. His complaint alleges the doctors failed to make a proper diagnosis and that he .suffered permanent injuries as a result. The case is being heard by Judge Dennis Donovan. In the second suit, W. C. Inc., Duluth building firm, seeks $153,000 damages from the AFL Carpenters Union as a result of 1951 strike. Judge Gunnar H. Nordbye is hearing the evidence.
