60 Wood River Children Visit Lions, Monkeys Rotary Club Sponsors Trip to St. Louis 7oo WOOD RIVER, Oct. 5,—Sixty local local school children were Initiated Into the mysteries of monkey-business, monkey-business, and got their first look at the Lions In Forest park zoo, St. Lou!s, Tuesday afternoon during an excursion sponsored 'by the local Rotary Club. They were driven to the zoo In 12 cars, arrangements for which had been made by the service committee committee of the club. They were given a special guide at the zoo. The monkeys were placed on display display and put through their trick* for the children, and later the lion cubs performed outside the lion house, In a small enclosure. The children were given candy popcorn treats before leaving. Those providing cars for the trip were Herbert Paton, president of the club: W. I. Jolly, chairman of the service committee; Lloyd Carter, Carter, Bryant Harrod, Mayor Holcomb, Alvin Stolze, E. V. Gtehl, C. C. Stadtman, Francis Manning, Raymond Raymond Don Stockor, 6, A.
