Oak Park, early yesterday morning", destroying his house and its contents. Mr. Houren and his family were awakened by the smell of smoke and the roar of the flames In the high wind, and barely escaped from tbe burning building with their lives. The csuse of the blaze was an overheated stove, which set fire to the floor and walls of one of the downstairs downstairs rooms. The house was destroyed and everything in it was ruined. Mr. Houren places his loss on clothing and house furnishings furnishings at nearly $2,500, and the house was valued at as much more. The house and furniture furniture were insured for about $2,000.
