Mr. Levi Brubaker, of Warwick township, Pa., and his son, a lad of about twelve vears of age, were walking through his wheat field, the boy, being some distance behind behind his father, on a sudden screamed with terror. His father hastening back, found that a monstrous monstrous black snake had colled around the boy's foot and leg the boy being without shoes and bit him in a dreadful manner. After taking the lad borne, he made an application of saleratus dissolved In whisky, which effectually removed the poison.
