I can not find it my. heart to decline to respond to the sentiments that prompted .the. kind invitation of tho Daughters of Oran M. Roberts Chapter of U. D. C. and therefore promise myself the pleasure of being with you on 30th inst. Thanking you and begging you will communicate contents to Mrs. Bates, fraternally, ROBT. G, STREET. In order that the veterans of . Dick Dowling Camp may participate in the exercises Oran M. Roberts Chapter, United Daughters of- the Confederacy, will hold memorial services at Shearn Chapel Sunday Sunday afternoon, April 30, beginning 1 at 2:30 p. m. and closing at i p. m. There will be an Invocation by Rev. Moore of Shearn Church, an address by Judge Street of Galveston and appropriate. music. All Daughters of the Confederacy, Dick Dowling Camp and the general public are cordially invited to be present. After'the services are concluded Oran M. Roberts Chapter, Dick Dowling Camp and all who feel Inclined to. join them will proceed .to the various' cemeteries and decorate the graves of Confederate veterans. The members of Oran M. Roberts Chapter Chapter are requested to meet at Shearn Chapel Saturday at 2:30 p. m. to make wreaths with which to decorate th^ graves. AH persons who will donate flowers for this purpose are requested to send them to Shearn Chapel by 2:30 p. m. on Saturday. The regular meeting of Oran ' . M. Roberts . Chapter will be 'held Friday at 3:30 p. m. at Dick Dowlint? Hall. The president has appointed the following committees for cemeteries: jiipiscbpai Cemetery. -- Mrs. M. A.
