PAOE SIX WOOD RIVER 3 Woman'* Club Dancing Party The- dance given by the Woman'? Club of Wood River, last night at Schlllinger'B balJ, was a big success. It was well attended and greatly enjoyed by all those who attended. Many out of town guesta were there At about 10.30 the grand march started, lead by C. A- James and Mrs. M. P. Manning, prealdent of the club. Each guest waa prenented with a paper cap which they wore during the evening. Cordelia Jones' orcbetarat furnished the music, while the danc- era tripped the light fantasy until atter 12, when the orchestra struch up "Homo Sweet Home," to the regret of the many dancers, who voted this dance ono of the best and most enjoyable of the season. Among thoso who attended from Alton were. Misses Helen Unterbrlnk, Anna Meyer, Irene Conlay, Florence Mohr, Anna Johnson, Hilda Boedy, Mrs. Emma Macki- new. Messrs. George Sprlngman, Walter Green, Ben Doraey, Fred Immenga, James Springer, Ben Elblo, Mr. an 4 Mrs. James DooJey, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pleper, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dor- fley and many others. E.
