Spence rites set Saturday Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Spence, 69, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in New Home Baptisl Church, Mexia. The Rev. A. V. 'Fisher, pastor of Salem Missionary Baptist Church of Fort Worth, will officiate. Burial, will be in Wortham Cemetery. Mrs. Spence, a Fort Worth resident, died at John Peter Smith Hospital there, at 4:41 a.m. Sunday. She was a housewife, and a Baptist • A .native of Wheelock, she was born Feb. 9, 1907. Survivors include two sons, Willie Spence of Corsicana and John ' L'." Spence" of Pacoima, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Nettie Banks of Pacoima, Calif., and Mrs. Johnnie Knight of Fort Worth; two brothers, Theodore Payne and the Rev. Isaac Payne, both of Fort Worth; three sisters, Mrs. Cornelious Taylor of Bryan, Mrs. Virgie Loftis of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Berthina Westmoreland of Amarillo; three grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. Dorsey and Keatts Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
