Zubik added. Mr. Zubik was born April 20, 1917 in Bryan. He married Anne Zemanek in 1938 and they have four children. In May, 1944, Zubik joined tho armed forces under a voluntary induction act and was assigned to the 45th Infantry Division. He saw combat service in France and Germany and was honorably honorably discharged in November of 1945 He served four years in the Texas National Guard upon returning to Bryan. He received the Combat Infantryman's Badge, Kuropean Campaign Medal with two Bronze Stars, Purple Heart Medal, Bronze Star Medal, Good Conduct Medal Medal and the Victory Medal.
