TSPE AUXILIARY MEMBERS AT COFFEE Mrs. Bob Peterson, Mrs. Bob Zubik, Mrs. T. M. Babin Auxiliary To Professional Engineers Begins Year With Coffee, Meeting The Ladies Auxiliary to the Baytown Chapter, Texas Society of Professional En- ginners, met in the home of Mrs. T. M. Babin to begin the year's activities. Mrs. A. R. Zubik, president, conducted the meeting. Coffee was served to 16 members and a guest, Mrs. Bob Peterson. Mrs, J. S. Keating served at the coffee service. In addition to Mrs. Zubik, officers are Mrs. J. S. Keating and Mrs. Hugh Lansford, vice presidents; Mrs. Jodie Isenhower, secretary and Mrs. A. D. Wilkinson, treasurer. Mrs. Zubik announced that Mrs. Keating will be program chairman; Mrs. Phil Bennett, decorations chairman; Mrs. A. B. O'Brien, membership; Mrs. Lansford, publicity, scrapbook and yearbooks. Meetings for the year will feature a talk on sewing from Mrs, Roy Fuller, a Christmas party, a book review by Mrs. T. L. Satterwhite Jr., a games party and handcraft display, and a program presented by General Telephone Co. The auxiliary was organized to promote interest in the professional engineer and his place in society and to further the purposes of the Baytown Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers by encouraging friendly social and educational contacts among professional engineers and their families. The auxiliary also carries out such activities as may be approved or suggested by the Baytowi Chapter TSPE. All wives of members of the Baytown Chapter, TSPE are invited to join the auxiliary for programs and i social contact with other wives of professional engineers. Wives of all members of the state society are eligible for associate membership. On Oct 9, the group will tour the Heritage Society homes in Houston, followed by luncheon in that city. Details will be announced later.
