France - Mohundro Wedding
France-Mohundro Wedding On Christmas Eve at 7 o'clock in the First Baptist Church in East Alton occurred the marriage of Lynwood H. France of East Alton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy France of Staunton, and Miss Betty Jo Mohundro, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Mohundro, of Ohio avenue, East Alton. The church was decorated with Christmas Christmas greens and flowers, and was candle-lighted. Before the wedding Mrs. William William F. Bohn, with Mrs, R. E. Fecht as her accompanist, sang "1 Love You Truly." Mrs. Fecht also played the wedding march as the bridal party entered the church. The bride, wh.o was escorted by her brother, Edwin Mohundro walked down the main aisle, and her sister and sole attendant, Miss Vivian Mohundro, entered through the north aisle. At the chance the bride was joined by Mr. France who entered the church from the vestry, accompanied by his best man, John Bowers. The impressive double ring ceremony ceremony was performed by the Rev William F. Bohn. The bride and her sister wof> street frocks of dark blue wool trimmed with white, and corsages of white gardenias, arranged with holly. Mr. and Mrs. France, who arc employed by Western Cartridge Company, will reside In East Alton. Alton. Mr. France Is a graduate of the Staunton High School ant his bride Is a graduate of the East Alton-Wood River High School.
