Service at Brown-Rodcn Funeral Home here was conducted by the Rev. Robert Metzser, Blossom Metho- dist pastor, and pallbearers were i G. L. Skidmore, Sam Parks. Bob j Bain Baker, J. H. Thomas, Amos I Buchanan and Horace Butler. Sergeant Vickers, a radio oper- a tor in the 77th Air Force Squad-j ron, was killed in a plane accident • on Adak Island. He had enlisted Dec - 10 ^ 1941 - and received train- of 'n««t Scott Field. 111., before being ent to Ai as __ a ;„ November, 1042. H e was the son of the late T. L. a nd Ullie Wilson Vickers, and was | born at Blossom, July 15, 1920. The only Immediate survivor is his sister, sister, Mrs. J. A. Franklin, Blossom.
