WEDDINGS --o-- ANTHONY-WALLS The wedding of Miss Christine Walls, daughter of Mrs. Hazel Walls, of Denton, to Mr. StVinley Wayne Anthony, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Anthony, of Greensboro, took place at the home of the officiating minister. Rev. T. J. Turkington, on Saturday, May 16, at 7 p. m. The attendants were the groom's brother and sister-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Anthony. The bride chose a lovely white dress, white accessories and a corsage of red rosebuds. Mrs. Anthony was dressed in light blue with white accessories and a red rose corsage. A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Anthony. The groom, who is serving with the U. S. Army, returned to his camp in Virginia on Monday. Mrs. Anthony will reside with her mother. The young couple received many nice and useful gifts from their many friends and relatives. is being transferred to York, Pa., where he will be Supervisor of a ! branch office. Mrs. Ih-nry J. Mrs. Harry Richardson and Miss Sue Bye co-hostesses. Eighteen members of 'Circle 1 at the home of Mrs. Newman Rickards and Mrs. Georgianna Kimmcl on Monday evening. Mrs. Beatrice Pine was co-hostess. Mrs. Fied B. Nut tie was hostess to 12 members and a guest of 4 in the Church Parlor on Monday afternoon. Twenty-six members and guests of Circle 3 met for a covered dish picnic at the home of Mrs. Howard Hager on Monday evening. Mrs. Theodore Orme and Mrs. James Temple were the co-hostesses. Mrs. John Shaffer and Mr. Alvin Shaffer spent the week-end in Pennsylvania. Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm MacDonald, of Peoria, 111., visited with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John MacDonald; his aunt, Mrs. Dugald MacDonald, and Mrs. Donald MacDonald on Monday afternoon.
