Holds First Officers' Meeting of Season The first monthly officers' meeting of the Jefferson school P.-T. A. was held last Monday afternoon at the school building. Mrs. Roy L. Hartnett, president, presided, at which time Mrs. W. Hartlett Powell presented literature concerning courses in "Home Hygiene and First Aid," which was considered for parent education classes to be given during the year. Plans for a Halloween card party were formulated. Ten officers were present. A get-acquainted social was held Friday afternoon at the Jefferson school for parent-teacher officers, teachers and room representatives. The room sponsors visited their rooms for the last period of the day for the purpose of becoming acquainted with the children and teacher of that room. After school all groups met in the library and were presented to one another.' The following were present: Mrs. Hartnett, Mrs. Lester M. Remy, Dan Baker, Miss Jeanette L. Mitchell, Mrs. Campton D.
