Wood River Club Names Delegates Jr, Woman's Convention Set April 25 WOOD RtVER~-Delpgntrs lo the district convention In East. St. I/>uls on April 25 wore nnnotmced Monday night by the Junior Woman's Club. They will be Mrs. Clifton Seymour, Mrs, Francis Manning, Mrs. Vfrdnll Hanner, Mrs, Charles Har- iris, Mrs,' I/>nnlo Bowman, Mrs. .Tumes Elble, Mrs, Edwin Marks, Mrs. Thomas Young, Mrs, Don MV'Connell and Mrs. Robert .Tones. . Mrs, Manning Was elected as a delegate lo the state convention which will be held In Chicago on May 6, 7 and 8. The Monday evening meeting was nn event lo honor mothers of members and to entertain members of the Senior Woman's Club. Seventy-five women were in attendance. (HRs were presented to Mrs, E. L. Kimmel, senior club president, and Mrs., Charles Summers, contact chairman. The two women wore introduced by Mrs. Seymour, Junior president. A talk on the expansion program at Wood River Township Hospital was given by C. H, Decker, president of the hospital board of directors. Music was provided by a girls' octet of East Alton-Wood Rlvei Community High School, Mrs. Virgil Balster was music chairman. Reports were given by Mrs, Roj Adams, Mrs. Manning and Mrs. Seymour. Mrs. fhillip Schoppet and Mrs. McConncll were in charge of entertainment which included the playing of cards. A slate of officers, to be elected at the next meeting on April 28, was presented, Hostesses were Mrs. Robert, Cargill, chairman, Mrs. Virgil Bulsler, Mrs. Vincent Carroll, Mrs. Ed Wiley, Mrs. Martin Hartmann and Mrs. Raymond Mortimer. to fi by to he on be
