Daily News, MON., JULY 14, 1975 Pof« 2 Esthervif II Girl Weds Terril AAan ESTHERVILLE — Sara Elizabeth Smith and Denial Eugene Kelley chose June 28 for the day of their wedding with the double-ring ceremony read by the Rev. Max Goldman Goldman at the United Methodist Church, Estherville. Sara is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Smith, Estherville and Denial is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Kelley, rural Terril. Escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her parents, the bride was attired in a gown made of Miramist with venise applique trim with long tapered sleeves with venise applique trim. The high < neckline had a fitted yoke and ' a camisole bodice adorned with venise medallions to match and medallions scattered scattered on the A-line skirt. A complete hemline of the skirt and chapel train had a border of venise daisy trim that also appeared on the finger tip length matching veil. The bride's bouquet consisted of miniature pink f and white carnations and roses with ivy. Mrs, Ruth Brawford provided organ nuptial music, playing the processional t 'Wedding March from Lohengrin' and accompanied Donald Brown and LUi Lyon as they sang a duet, 'The Sabbath Prayer'. 'The Lord's Prayer' was sung by Donald Brown. At the close of the service the couple lit the symbolic unity candle followed by the recessional, 'Wedding March, by Mendelssohn. THE BRIDE'S mother wore a mint green floor length dress with a jacket and the mother of the bridegroom wore a powder blue floor length dress with matching jacket. Personal attendant for the bride was Nancy Hendrickson, Hendrickson, Estherville. Additional helpers were Chris Horgen, Huntsville, Ala., Roger Celusta, McFarland, Wis., Ralph Steele, LaCrosse, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Lester McCleary, Estherville and Ray Good, Lakewood, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Huntsinger, Huntsinger, Estherville, were flower attendants. Honored guests at the ceremony and reception were the couple's grandmothers, Mrs. Ernest Smith, grandmother grandmother of the bride, and Mrs. Marion Brooker, grandmother of the bridegroom. IMMEDIATELY following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Estherville Country Club. Dining room hosts were Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Hendrickson, Estherville. Guests were registered by Cindy Tholkes, Estherville and gift attendants were Janet Hendrickson, Estherville and Pricilla Forsyth, Estherville. The cake was cut and served by Mrs. Ralph Steel, La Crosse, Wis., Mrs. James Valen, Spirit Lake and Mrs. George Heisler, Spencer. Presiding at the coffee service were Mrs. Albert Hey wood, Estherville, Mrs. Roy Wittchen, Wittchen, Terril and Mrs. Ray Good, Lakewood, Colo. Dipping Dipping punch were Lorinda Preston, Estherville and Annette Petersen, Spirit Lake. Waitresses were Ann Fagre, Susan Fagre, of Estherville, Kay Brant, Terril, Ruth, Bygness, Sac City, and Sandy Twito, Estherville. FOLLOWING a visit through the western states the newly weds are making their home at Terril. Sara is a 1975 graduate of Estherville High School and Danial graduated from Terril High School in 1972 and attended attended Iowa State University, Ames. He is presently engaged in farming, rural Terril. The parents of the bridegroom hosted a pre wedding dinner Friday June 27 at the VFW post home.
