Mr. and Mrs. August Gumser Wedding vows were spoken at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, by Miss Geraldine Blauwkamp and August Gumser at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Blauwkamp of route 1, Zeeland. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Gumser of route 4, Holland. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Herbert Vander Lugt before a setting of ferns, mixed bouquets and candelabra. Mrs. Tom Redder was pianist and accompanied Mrs. Ralph Blauwkamp as she sang "Wedding Hymn" and "Always." For her wedding, the bride wore a street-length dress of sheer white wool crepe with a matching half hat trimmed with seed pearls. She wore a corsage of shaded pink carnations. Mrs. James Bultman, Jr., sister of the bride, as matron of honor wore a navy blue dress with navy and white accessories and a corsage of red and white carnations. James Bultman, Jr., assisted the groom as best man. Mr. and Mrs. Andy Blauwkamp were master and mistress of ceremonies. A reception for 35 guests "followed the ceremony. Miss Arvilla Mostord arranged the gifts and guests were served by Mrs. Henry Blauwkamp and Mrs. Al De Roo. Immediately after the reception Mr. and Mrs. (Prince photo) Gumser left for Seattle, Wash., where they will make their home at 4205 South 158th St. Woman's Club Will See Exotic Dances of the East Colorful, authentic dances of the Far East by the exotic Litia Namoura will highlight the Woman's Literary Club meeting Tuesday at 2.30 pjn. at the club house. Miss Namoura, colorful dance interpreter of the Far and Near East, is of Arabian heritage and well able to give to her program the deep understanding and feeling of the exotic places whose dances she performs. Her fabulous costumes have gained famed for their beauty and authenticity.
