John Woodrow Tinnell, 53, of Corbin, formerly of 2814 S. Fifth St., died Thursday in Corbin. He was a native of Shepherdsville and was a painter. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include two brothers, Chester Chester and Harold Ray Tinnell, and a sister, sister, Mrs. Juanita Denney. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the O. D. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2727 S. Third St., with burial in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery.
