money to necessary expenses. Death of T. I). Draper. The death of Travis D. Draper occurred occurred at his home in the southeast part of town Monday at 7 o'clock a. m. Mr. Draper has been in poor health for several years and unable to be on the streets, but has not been confined confined to his bed. Sunday night he had an attack of heart trouble, but he rallied rallied and his wife was not alarmed at his condition. Monday morning he arose and walked from his bed-room bed-room bed-room into the sitting room and his wife prepared his breakfast and took it to him. He attempted to eat, but could not and expired in a few moments, before before medical aid could reach him. Mr. Draper was S3 years of age and a native of Tennessee. He was a member of Company A, One Hundred Thirty-Fifth Thirty-Fifth Thirty-Fifth Regiment Illinois Volunteers Volunteers for one hundred days. At the expiration of that time he re-enlisted re-enlisted re-enlisted In the Fourteenth Regiment Illinois Volunteers and served until the close of the war. He had been twice married. He leaves a wife and three children two sons and one daughter, by his former marriage. Arrangements for the funeral have not been made, but will probably be held this (Tuesday) afternoon.
