Word was received by relatives In this city announcing the death of Mrs.. Bridget O'Connor, former Mount Carmei woman, but who for the past ten years has been a resident of Phila delphia. The decedent was 64 years ot age. and according to the information re ceived she died from the effects of a stroke on Thursday afternoon. Mrs. O'Connor was the widow of the late Michael O'Connor, who for many years conducted a hotel at Connors-ville. About ten years ago the family removed to Philadelphia, and despite her advanced age Mrs. O'Connor enjoyed the very best of health until, three weeks ago, when ill health, which usually precedes a stroke, over, took her. A few hours after she was stricken on Thursday she succumbed. . Deceased i3 survived by one brother, Peter Skivington, of Beaverdale; two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Quinn, ot 104 North Maple street, and Mrs. Michael Hennessey, ot Philadelphia, and the following children: Mrs. Joseph Grike, Michael, Peter, Patrick, John, Edna and Marcella all of Philadelphia, The body wll arrive in this city on Monday and will be taken to the home of her sister Mrs. Theresa Quinn, 104 North Maple street. The funeral will be held on Tuesday morning with a requiem high mass in the Church of Our Lady at 8:30 o'clock. Interment will be made in the parish cemetery.
