Mr. and Mrs. F.' J. Yung and sons work- were among those who celebrated I Mrs. Dan Weyrich, Sr., birthday Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Lauber and daughter, Lola, motored to Charleston Charleston Sunday to look after their farm interest there. Peter Fox and family, Conrad Brehm and family and the young folks of Herrmann's spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Dan Hogan. IIiYgo Werner purchased a new Reo Saturday. The Etherton family, of north of Spearville, moved their goods on the Jensen place, formerly occupied bv Ed Burkhart. A number of young folks attended the picnic dance for the St. Joseph's church Monday evening. Mr. anil Mrs. Michael Stumps, daughter Virginia. Mr. and Mrs. John Stumps and baby motored from Claf-llin Claf-llin Claf-llin Saturday to visit over Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Dan Hogan. Mrs. J. W. Richie and son, Byron, returned to Spearville Saturday after after visiting a week with the Peter Fox family. Mrs. Hugo Werner went to Zenda Tuesday to attend the wedding of her niece. Miss Ella Werner. Frank Fox left for Gray County Monday, after spending a few days with home folks. Mrs. Mat Weber was on the sick list the latter part of the last week. Mr. and Mrs. J. U. Grice, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Neuman went out to Garden Citv Thursdav.
