Season Will End Sunday When Hoosiers and Hagerstown Play Off Tie for Championship RALEIGH 3RD. CARTHAGE 4TH With the Tri-county baseball league in somewhat of a fix like the big leagues, the season will end so Sunday with the two leaders, tied for first, playing off the deciding game. The Hoosiers and Hagerstown are tied for first place, and these teams meet Sunday. Raleigh plays at Carthage and the Red Sox meet Westwood. In the games last Sunday, Carthage lost in the ninth inning to the Rose City Red Sox, 6 to 5. The Red Sox put across the winning run in the last inning. Hagerstown defeated Raleigh, 5 to 2 and the Hoosiers won from Westwood, 6 to 3. The league standing: — '/y. - .
