A YEAR'S SERVICE. Rev. Teague Gives a Summary of His Year's Pastorate. Rev. M. A. Teague; pastor of the M - . E. church of this city, closed his labors for the present year Sunday, giving a brief summary of his la - bors in the evening, the regular work of He performed the church for the year, held eight weeks of protracted protracted meeting, taken thirty - two into the church, baptized five persons, persons, attended fourteen funerals and married fifteen couples! In the year 350 have been expended for the improvement of the church, mostly in the new bell; 120 hymnals hymnals have been placed in the church; about $200 has been given to benevolent benevolent objects. The expenses of the church and Sabbath school ! have amounted to about $250. The school has increased in average attendance attendance about 120, averaging since the holidays 265. All salaries for pastor, pastor, elder and bishops, amounting to $1,000 has been paid and $150 on the parsonage. All these are paid up to date. The year has been successful successful in all particulars. j j Rev. Teague will leave Wednesday Wednesday night or Thursday morning for the conference.
