Daltoii, E. Devanny Dies; Brother of Funeral Director William E. Devanny, 58, of 285 Center Street, Lee, veteran of World War I and brother of 3. Devanny, funeral director, died this morning at St. Luke's Hospital Hospital where he had been a patient four weeks. Death was attributed lo a heart malady. A native of Pittsfield, he was son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Devanny and was educated in public schools. Mr. Devanny, who spent most of his life in this was a meat cutter by trade but late yars had been employed the Pittsfield apparatus works of Ihe GE. He was a communicant if St Mary's C h u r c h , \ 01 s are his widow, the former- Mary Mooney. three other brothers, brothers, Edward D , of Baltimore, Francis P., and John and two sisters, the Misses Catherine and Dellamore Devanny, all of Pittsfleld. The bodv rests at the Devanny F u n e r a l Home, w h e r e w i l l be held Tuesday morning followed at St Mary's Church, in with a high mass of requiem. Burial will be m St. Mary's Cemetery, Lee. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight, t o m o r r o Monday evening also tomorrow and Monday afternoons from 2 to 5.
