Randall Crawford, Amherst, Amherst, Texas, is one of the "Keep 'em Flying" personnel commended commended by Lt.-Gen. James K- Doolittle for teamwork with the 357th Fighter Group pilots, who recently broke an Eighth Air Force fighter fighter record by destroying 57V4 German planes, 56V5 in air battle and one on the ground, during a single afternoon's combat near Berlin. S/Sgt. Crawford is a crew chief with a fighter squadron at this P-51 Mustang base in England. England. He is hi charge of a crew, which services and maintains one of the" fighter planes.
