of Walter H. Schofield Walter Harry Schofield, 53. of 3105 Iowa, formerly of 180 Thirty-first, died Monday at five-thirty p. m. In a loca hospital, following a four-day lllneai, Mr. Schofield was born in Evanston Wyo., Nov. 13, 1894, a son of Walter and Eliza Fife Schofield. For 30 years he was a machinist for the Union Pacific railroad first in Evanston and for the past 20 years in Offden. More recently recently he had been employed at Clea: field navy supply depot. He was a member of the Intermountain Intermountain Association of Machinists, Ogden lodge No. 1429, and of the L. D. S church. He was a veteran of World War I. On July 4. 1918, he entered service at Fort Harrison, led., and was honorably honorably discharged Dec. 11, 1918. He married Morsie Ann Richlns In Evanston, April 25, 1918. Surviving are his widow, Ogden, sons, Walter Cecil, Ray R. and Verl Schofield, Ogden; two grandchildren, his father, Evanston. Wyo., and two broth. ers, Thomas H. Schofield, Evanston, ant William J. Schofield, Ogden: also two sisters, Mrs. Earl Miller, Las Vegas Nev., and Mrs. Annie Fennington, Evanston, Wyo. Services will be conducted Thursday at three-thirty p. m. at the mortuary 3408 Washington and burial will be in Ogden city cemetery.
