in Tues- Me the party a will evening of the date Com- cause, be 3 The remains of Mrs. Katherine Hocking, .wife of Capt. H- J. ing, who died at her home at the Montreal Mine location on day, July isth, were laid to rest the city cemetery in this city on Thursday afternoon of this week. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Win. Edmunds, of the Ironwood M. E. church, of which deceased was a member. Mrs. Hocking was a sister of the late Capt. Richard Bawden, and the family are well known and respected in this city. A large n u m b e friends from this city and aiso Ironwood and Hurley were in at- tendance at the funeral services at the grave. Deceased . was 38 years of age and Iraves a husband and several children to mourn her loss.
