to Three Are Charged Three Slaton men posted bond after waiving hearing before Mrs. Olive Fluke, U. S. commissioner here, on charges of theft from interstate shipment. Offense date charged was Saturday. They wore John Wesley Brown, 24, Joe Dale Clary, 35, and Charles David Brous, 32, They were arrested in -Slalon by C. W. Holt, special officer for the Santa Fe Railway company, which employs 1 -Clary and Brous, it was understood, 'Brous 1 bond was set at $1,000, those of the other two at $500 each. Railway officers said several cases of whisky had been removed removed from boxcars at Slaton several times. Complainant was Curtis L. Ferryman, Ferryman, resident agent of thc FBI, Bonds were marked instanter. Next term of court for thc Lubbock Lubbock division of thc Northern Federal Federal district is May 2. Man Held At Amarillo Only Brown was represented by counsel when bonds were set. Roy Carpenter and Byron Chappell, ' all formalities
