Serious Accident.—Oa Wednesday last Mr. Cornell Cornell Bradley, owner of the large new machine shop in Manchester, bad bis right hand caught in tha machinery, by which his thumb waa pailed from its socket, exposing the sinews, after which his arm was broken in two places, and dreadfully crushed, necessitating ita being amputated above the elbow. The owner cf tha above establishment had the misfortune nut long since to have his shops burned down. Be had but lately gotten them in operation, operation, when he was afflicted ni above related. Ho hsd made same valuable Improvements in Iron projectiles, projectiles, and was engaged in manufacturing them on a large scale for tbe Government.
