not time land cherry is flowers. hand meet a I life pleasure HE WAS A PIONEER OF STl DANIEL EBY DIED TUESDAY NIGHT FROM CANCER. Had Long Been a Prominent Citizen --Other Deaths aud Funeral Notices. the an the Daniel Eby, for many years a prominent citizen of Allen county, died Tuesday nig-ht at his home in St. Joe township, after an extended illness from cancer. Mr. Eby was about 75 years of He came to Allen county in 1845, and served as township clerk, justice of the peace, assessor and trustee his township, holding the latter position for sixteen or eighteen years. He was well known and very esteemed, and occupied a representative representative position in the community. Surviving are the widow and four childien--Mrs. C. Miller and Jcdn, Henry and Eli Eby. The funeral services wero held Friday at 11 o'clock from the residence and later from Mayhew chapel.
