JIM HAGAR DEQU1NCY (Spl.) - Funeral services for Jim Hagar, 57, of Ragley will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church. Kernan Baptist Burial will be in Magnolia cemetery cemetery with Snider funeral home in charge of arrangements. Revs. Wilton Anthony, pastor of Bethel Baptist church of Lake Charles and W, B. Bland, pastor of Kernan Kernan Baptist church will officiate. Mr. Hagar was dead on arrival at Douglas clinic at 10:30 p.m. Friday night. He was born in Ragley and was a member of Magnolia Baptist church of Ragley. He was a retired retired Newport operator. The body is at Snider funeral home until time for the services. Survivors are his wife of Ragley: Ragley: his mother Mrs. Jane Hagar of Ragley: one daughter, Mrs. H. M. Carradine of Ragley; three brothers, Albert Hagar of Ragley, Bud and J. L. Ragley of Lake Charles; six sisters, Mrs. C. T. Andrus of Ragley, Mrs. Joe Patterson Patterson and Mrs. Earl Mitchell of DeQuincy: Mrs. Edward Jones of Sulphur, Mrs. Floyd Rester of Bossier City and Mrs. Hessie Mae Wilson of Houston, Texas. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. pallbearers.
