Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Rote and daughters left Sunday morning for their home in Detroit after spending spending several days at the Fred Stahelin home. Mrs, Lenna Murphy, who has been ill for several days was taken to Paub'na Stearns hospital Friday evening, where her condition is improved. Mrs. Effi* Lehman, who has been at Paulina Stearns hospital for the past two weeks now is at the Hurley hospital in Flint where she underwent surgery on her hip Sunday. Mrs. Lehman fractured her hip in a fall at her home three weeks ago. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Saxton of Scottville, Mrs. R. A. Saxton and Mr. and Mrs. Ira Knowles of South Custer drove to Muskegon Sunday afternoon Miere they visited R. A. Saxton at Hackley hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Yost of Mt. Pleasant Pleasant also were visitors of Mr. Sax- ton Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Merle Wheelor, Carl Wheeler and Mrs. Minnie Geiger came from Woodland over the week-end to visit Mrs. Effie Lehman at Hurley hospital at Flint and Mrs. Lenna Murphy at Paulina Stearns hospital at Ludington. Mrs. Geiger is a sister-in-law of Mesdames Mesdames Lehman and Murphy. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Reene and son Lyle went to Detroit Sunday and to Ann Arbor Monday morning morning where Lyle Jr. entered University University hospital for surgery. Misses April Belle and Jewel Reene are at the home of their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Krupinski Krupinski during the absence of their parents. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Shellhouse and children, Mr. and Mrs. Don Shellhouse Shellhouse and children of Walkerville and their brother George of Detroit were guests Sunday evening at the J. H.
