| j Sunday afternoon following and ill- j ness of over two years' duration, Mrs. Lehman, 85, Taken by Death Mrs. Effie Lehman, 85, widow of the late Clinton Lehman, died at her farm home in South Custer Effic Wheeler was born Aug. IS, 1871, at Woodland. She was married married there to Clinton Lehman, who died in 1944. Soon after their marriage the couple came to Mason county and purchased the farm in South Custer, Custer, which had been her home for the past 60 yclirs. She was a member member of Church of the Brethren of South Custer, the Ladies' Aid so ciety of the church and of the Brighten-the-Corner club. Survivors are one son, Dallas W. Lehman who lives on the family farm; two daughters. Mrs. Oscar Odean of South Custer and Mrs. Lester Phillips of Flint; one sister, Mrs. Lcnna Murphy of Scottville; one sister-in-law Mrs. Minnie Gci- ger of Woodland; 10 grandchildren. 21 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Stephens chapel in Scottville. Burial will be in Brookside cemetery, Scottville.
