TUESDAY, JULY 7, 1959 Woman, Fractures Hip* Arm in Mrs. Nettie Christoe, 83, of 1218 Washington Ave., i* a patient patient in Alton Memorial Hospital for treatment following a fall Monday at the Christoe cottage in Piasa Chautauqua, in which she incurred hip and arm frao* lures. Mrs. Christoe was brought to the hospital by ambulance, ac* companied by her daughters, Helen, and Mrs. Russ Milford. The injury was incurred when Mrs. Christoe slipped on a rug. Mrs. Christoe's sister, Mrs* Philip C. Graul, is convalescing at her home, 1902 Beall Ave., from a hip fracture, incurred irt n similar accident two months ago at her home. Mrs. Graul is now able lo get about in a wheel chair. Mrs. Burger, \vlio is the wife of Freeman Burger of Rt. 2, Jeiv soyville, sustained head and finger finger injuries-. Three children were given Irealmenl in the emergency room of the hospital and then released. They were Billy Ebrachl, 11, son cf Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Ebracht, Granite City, who suffered a foot in.jury when lie slipped and struck Ihn side of a swimming pool while at camp; Thomas Spaulding, Spaulding, 3, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Spaulding, arm and elbow injuries, injuries, and Steven Martineau, 3, son of Mr. and Mrs. John MaYlineau, 1.907 Wordcn Ave., a wrist injury. injury.
