The Oakland Bicycle Club has been formed with the following officers: President, Dr. L. Van Orden; Vice President, George H. Gibson; Captain, George F. Drake; First Lieutenant, Reedlaw Hubbard; Second Lieutenant, A. C. Lassen; Secretary and Treasurer, Sam Small; Bugler, J. F. Revalk. Tom Roe, the Chicago 'cyclist, has arrived in San Francisco. He proposes to make a trip on his wheel from San Francisco to Chicago in less than sixty days.
