Maness vSHIPMAN — Mrs. Rose B. Maness, of Shipman, died Wednesday at 10:25 p.m. at the Carlinville Area Hospital after a five month illness. She was born July 16, 1895, in Missouri and married Frank Maness in 1926. They lived in Shipman since 1937. Surviving are her husband, Frank; four daughters, Mrs. Marie Cason of Wood River, Mrs. Beulah Lagemanh of Alton, Mrs. Marian Mueller and Mrs. Mary Volma, both of Godfrey; two sons, Frank Jr. of Detroit and Henry of Dow; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and a sister. Mrs. Jane Givcns of Hannibal, Mo. She was a member of the Harmony Baptist Chrn«i, the Harmony Community Club and the Anti-Theft Association Ladies Auxiliary. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at. the Warner Funeral Home in Shipman and burial will be in Shipman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
