MRS. SARAH VENABLE DIED FRIDAY MORNING Funeral Service* of Atlanta Will Be Held This Afternoon. Mrs. Sarah Cornelia Hoyt Venable. 82 years old, » pioneer ot Atlanta and One widely belored. died «*rlr JTJoay morning at the residence, 102» Ponce de Leon avenue, alter an illness of two months. She Is survived by four sons, Sam and Walter Venable, of Atlanta; Orr Venable, of Stone Mountain, and Clarence, of Llthonla, and two daughters, Mrs. James N. Ellis and Mrs. Frank Mason, both of Atlanta. Mrs. Venable was born In Mary - Till*. Tenn.. on November 17, 1831. and was the daughter of Rev. Darius Hoyt, at one thne professor of Latin and Greek In Maryville college, In Tenneasee. She was mkrrled to William Richard \ enable while on a visit to Athena, Tenn., on March 10, I860. They came to Atlanta lmmeaiately following their marriage. Mr. Venable serves court and keeper of public records.
