OBITUARY— BALL Emma Jane Hanna, daughter of John and Francis Hanna, was born in New York state Aug. 2, 1861, and died March 12, 1937, after a short illness of flu and complications. She came to Seneca Seneca with her parents about 1871 and lived there until her marriage marriage to H. P. Ball on March 4, 1880. They moved to their farm near Dessa 46 years ago where she lived until her death. Mr. Ball died in 1921. To this union were born six children, one daughter dying in infancy; one son, Floyd, died Aug. 1, 1909, and one daughter, Mrs. Stella Golden, died May 25, 1918. Surviving are one son, Corbett Corbett Ball; two daughters, Mrs. J. H. Drake and Mrs. Earl Heidrich; Heidrich; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Maize of Wyandotte; one brother, brother, W. C. Hanna of Jonesboro, Ark., 21 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted conducted by C. E. Adams at the Swars Prairie Baptist church at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon.
